The Best Vegan Brunch Cocktails in Portland

Portland has great vegan brunch. But finding a spot where the drinks are just as good as the food? That’s a different story. Here’s our honest guide to the best vegan brunch cocktails in Portland.

Too many brunch spots treat the bar like an afterthought — a couple of beers, a basic mimosa, maybe a pre-made Bloody Mary from a bottle. Fine. But not exactly exciting. Here’s where to go when the cocktail list actually matters.

Off The Griddle — Alberta & Foster-Powell

2215 NE Alberta St & 6526 SE Foster Rd — Open Daily 9AM–3PM

We’ve been Portland’s go-to vegan brunch spot since 2010, and our bar program gets the same scratch-made care as everything on the menu. All cocktails are 100% vegan — including our house-made Bloody Mary mix (no anchovies, ever).

Straight Up Bloody Mary$11 / $19 32oz
House vodka and OTG bloody mary mix, made from scratch in-house. Add one of our house-infused vodkas for $1 more: Spicy jalapeño, Gazpacho (cucumber, red bell pepper & garlic), or Bangkok (thai basil & ginger). The 32oz mason jar version is a Portland brunch institution.
Bloody Tio$12 / $19 32oz
Same OTG bloody mary mix, built on silver tequila instead of vodka. If you’re a tequila person, this is your move.
Mimosas$10 / $18 32oz
Champagne with your choice of lemonade, orange, or grapefruit juice. Add orange or ginger liqueur for $1 more.
Steal My Sunshine$11
House vodka, lemonade, organic iced tea, and muddled mint. A spiked Arnold Palmer with herb action — one of our most-ordered cocktails on a warm Portland morning.
Multi Tasker$11
Coffee rum, maple syrup, and oatmilk. Can’t decide between coffee and a cocktail? You don’t have to.
Berry Chill$8 | Also Available NA
Muddled mint, soda water, lemonade, and strawberry syrup. Available with or without rum — great for when you want something refreshing without going full cocktail mode.
Aperol Spritz$11
Champagne, aperol, soda water. Simple and perfect.
Paloma$11
Silver tequila, grapefruit juice, agave, soda water, lime.

Epif — NE Portland

404 NE 28th Ave

South American-inspired vegan brunch with a full bar and a pisco cocktail program. Their pisco sour and house mocktails are worth the trip on their own. The food menu leans Andean — sopaipillas, empanadas, quiche — and the whole experience feels distinct from anywhere else in Portland’s vegan scene.

The Bye and Bye — NE Alberta

1011 NE Alberta St

A Portland classic — fully vegan bar with a great weekend brunch menu and an expansive heated patio. Cocktails are well-priced and consistent. If you’re spending a morning on Alberta Street, this is a natural stop before or after Off The Griddle.

Harlow — SE Division

3632 SE Division St

Mostly plant-based with a juice and cocktail menu that genuinely competes with the food. Think house-made shrubs, fresh-pressed juice cocktails, and seasonal ingredients. Good option if you’re with a mixed group and want a nicer sit-down vibe.

What to Watch Out For

Not every cocktail is automatically vegan. A few things to ask about:

  • Bloody Mary mix — traditional Worcestershire sauce contains anchovies. Ours doesn’t.
  • Honey — shows up in bee’s knees variations and some house syrups
  • Dairy cream — some brunch cocktails use heavy cream or butter-washed spirits
  • Egg whites — used in some sours for froth

At Off The Griddle everything is vegan by default — no guessing required.
